Actress Sukumari who was undergoing a treatment for burn injuries in a private hospital in Chennai. She had suffered the burns when she lit a temple lamp.
Sukumari who acted in more than 2500 movies in south indian and Hindi films. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions towards the arts. In 2010, she won the 2010 National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in a bilingual in Tamil (Namma Gramam) and Malayalam (Gramam).For sure She will live in our hearts for ever.
