Rima Kallingal continuous her brilliant choice of movies with Rajesh Nair’s Escape From Uganda too. Which will have Rima Kallingal playing some high-octane action scenes.
According to her so far she trained Kalaripayattu and Manipuri martial art Chau mostly for her dance performances. But this will be the first time she will be using them in action sequences. And she also added there is no need to go overboard, especially she plays an ordinary woman. And this will be a more realistic action approach in the film.
The theme of the movie is based on a family which lives in Uganda. Rima plays the role as the mother of a 3 year old child who gets trapped in the country. Not ready to fall back, Rima work out some plans to escape from the country. Tamil actor Parthiban also will have a prominent role in Escape From uganda.
Escape From Uganda is a thriller set at the back drops of the exotic locations in Uganda. This is the first time a Malayalam film will be shot completely in South Africa. And another very exciting matter is, the climax of the movie will be shot in the Luzira Maximum Security Prison, a well-known prison in Uganda, with one of the most security. Film also has other exotic locations like Nile river, hot water springs and live volcanoes. The film expected to have some well-known Hollywood stunt master helm the stunt department.
The first schedule of the movie will start in September in Uganda. The story is by Rajesh and the script and screenplay are by 3G. The film will be produced by Usha Umesh & Kishor Kumar M Under the banner of VAYA films.
